Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warming up and Lead-in
1. Greetings
2. Share with students a song “Price tag”
(設(shè)計意圖:通過歌曲導(dǎo)入的方式,可以激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,而且能夠創(chuàng)設(shè)一個良好的英語學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,同時也為學(xué)生融入英語課程做好的準(zhǔn)備。)
Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Ask students to match the words with the things in the picture in 1a.
2. Give them 5mins to recite and then ask four students to write the words they can remember as much as possible on the blackboard.
(設(shè)計意圖:讓學(xué)生通過圖片對應(yīng)單詞和檢查的方式去學(xué)習(xí)單詞,更加直觀形象而且能夠加深他們的印象,同時為下文的聽力掃除單詞障礙。)
Step 3 While-listening
1. Play the record for the first time, and students should listen and circle the things they hear in the picture in 1b.
2. Play the tape again, and ask students to listen and find out the prices of the things they hear.
3. Play the tape for the last time, and ask students to read after the tape, and pay more attention to the pronunciation, and do the imitation.
(設(shè)計意圖:通過聽力練習(xí),鍛煉和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生捕捉大意和細(xì)節(jié)信息的能力,提高學(xué)生的聽力技能,同時通過跟讀和仿讀,提高學(xué)生的口語能力。)
Step 4 Post-listening
1. Students will be given 3mins to practice the conversation in pairs in 1c. Later they will be invited to do a role-play.
2. Students will be given 5mins to make their own conversations in pairs according to the sample in 1c, and then several pairs will be invited to have a presentation in front of the class.
(設(shè)計意圖:邀請學(xué)生進(jìn)行編造對話和角色扮演,不僅能夠鍛煉學(xué)生的口語能力和應(yīng)用能力,也給學(xué)生提供了展現(xiàn)自己的舞臺,有助于提升學(xué)生的自信。)
Step 5 Summary and homework
Summary: Ask students to conclude what they have learned today. And then make a summary.
Homework: Ask them to do a survey about their parents’ clothing and ask about the prices. In the next class, they need to report on that.
(設(shè)計意圖:在此環(huán)節(jié)中,請學(xué)生進(jìn)行總結(jié)不僅可以體現(xiàn)學(xué)生的主體地位,同時讓學(xué)生在體驗中,得到收獲知識的喜悅感和滿足感,此外作業(yè)的布置可以讓學(xué)生在課后進(jìn)一步鞏固所學(xué),體驗英語學(xué)習(xí)所帶來的樂趣。)
