Research shows that successful language learners can actively participate in the language learning process. As far as I am concerned, I agree with this view.

My reasons are as follows: On the one hand, anyone who learns a language successfully should know what his strengths and weaknesses are, so in order to achieve a better result, whether it is an examination or self-improvement, he will take positive attitude toward the language learning process so as to maximize his strengths and correct his weaknesses. What’s more, if a person can participate in the language learning process actively, in turn, there is a great possibility that he can improve his various abilities in an all-round way, so that it is more likely for him to become a successful language learner.

Therefore, generally speaking, it is of great necessity for a person to take an active mind to language learning if he or she wants to learn the language better.
